Job Summary
This individual will manage the food service operation and maintain established costs and quality standards in order to ensure superior service and maximize profits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the tasks of the Assistant Directors and Operations Managers
- Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises functions and activities of the department
- Establishes work standards and work flow
- Establishes and implements policies and procedures for departmental operations
- Directs and conducts safety, sanitation and community maintenance programs
- Maintains excellent relationships with employees, guests and client as well as other departments within the operation
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational, and follow-through skills
- Ability to utilize a participative approach to managing staff
- Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
