Job Summary

This internship position is focused on supporting the delivery of analytics and insights to Levy’s operators and partner at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles. In this role, you will develop food & beverage post-event reporting and dashboards, analyze trends, and measure key technology initiatives to help drive the business and enhance fan experience.
The role would ideally start in March/April 2023 and continue through the baseball season (September 2023). The ideal candidate will work a minimum of 20 hours per week with an opportunity to work 30-40 hours during peak MLB season. Attendance during events will be expected on occasion.
Most of the work will be expected to be completed at Oriole Park in Baltimore, Maryland. Depending on coursework, remote work will be approved on a case-by-case basis.

Job Details

Enhance reporting (post-game reports, dashboards, heatmaps) standards and formats for partner and operator end use
Analyze and build optimal solutions around specific business needs (labor, speed of service, menu concentration)
Assess new self-service technology initiatives to measure success and provide recommendations

Qualifications

Earning a degree in business strategy, business analytics, finance, economics, or a related field
Experience using an array of analytical tools for data analysis and visualization including Excel, SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau
Can share examples of using data to solve complex problems

As an intern, you will be working closely with E15 and Levy leaders to develop skills and competencies to be successful in your prospective industry. This internship involves hands-on experiences which will provide opportunities for your personal success and development. This position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.
