Job Summary

Bon Appetit Food Management is searching for an Executive Catering Chef to join our team at the Chase Center, Home of the World Champion Golden State Warriors in San Francisco, CA. Bon Appetit at The Chase Center is dedicated to being the benchmark in Sports & Entertainment food service. You will be responsible for delivering upon that dedication by establishing menu content, ensuring execution of that menu content, and establishing and maintaining cuisine quality and presentation standards. It will be your responsibility to achieve food costs, labor and menu mix goals. You will regularly benchmark with guests and stakeholders and incorporate the feedback into menu development, always striving to exceed our guests’ expectations.

She/He will understand the crucial importance of employee development and mentoring. Multi-unit restaurant, hotel/resort, banquet and catering operations experience and a deep multi-cultural knowledge of food preparation highly preferred. Job Requirements & Responsibilities-

The Executive Catering Chef will be responsible for all facets of kitchen management including staffing, training, menu creation, purchasing, costing and budgeting, and inventory.

This is a critical role in ensuring that guest expectations are exceeded and financial targets are achieved. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of purchasing & inventory control while maintaining cost of goods and labor budgets.

Computer literacy is necessary.

They will understand the crucial importance of employee development and mentoring.

Position will be responsible for focusing on cuisine quality, presentation and fully understanding guest expectations in both the dining areas and catering.

Schedule will be event based.

Applicant should have a minimum 5 years food service management experience.

Multi-unit restaurant, hotel/resort, banquet and catering operations experience and a deep multi-cultural knowledge of food preparation highly preferred.

Highly motivated professionals who are detail focused, committed to locally sourced and artisanal quality products are encouraged to apply.

Must have a ServSafe or equivalent food handler's certificate or be able to acquire one within two months upon hiring.
