Job Summary
NOW HIRING - OPENING GENERAL MANAGER, Delta Sky Club, Charlotte NC (CLT)
Take your career to new heights with the gorgeous new Delta Sky Club, CLT (opening this winter, 2024!). This is a tremendous opportunity to join an impactful leadership team, working in the eagerly anticipated Delta Sky Club (Charlotte's first). Working as a General Manager, you will maintain the Delta Sky Club in accordance with the approved budget while meeting and EXCEEDING the clients' expectations. You will maintain excellent relationships with employees, guests and the client, as well as other departments within the operation. Our General Managers promote professional growth and development of the entire team. You will ensure drive a culture of consistency and exceptional guest service, each and every day
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of engaged, motivated, and guest-centric employees - conducts ongoing training and drives performance
- Manages in compliance with company and clients' established policies and procedures
- Maintains food cost while ensuring the highest quality standards
- Establishes and maintains good rapport with staff, client and guest and other departments
- Manages purchasing and inventory controls; assists with menu planning in consultation with chefs
- Is knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of upscale food service experience, including several years at the management level
- Experience in personnel management including hiring, supervision, evaluation and succession planning
- Proven track record of achieving company goals in compliance with company/client policies and procedures
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills; highly diligent with a laser focus on the details
- Demonstrated success with performance management - your leadership delivers results via an impactful, engaged team
- Effective problem solving and conflict management skills
- Ability to multi-task as well as stay on task and concentrate with constant interruptions
- Experience in food purchasing, food costs and inventory control
- Ability to create budgets, flash reports, financial targets and forecasts
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and reconciliation of multiple cash banks and reports
- Must be knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food
- Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving
- Exceptional business etiquette and client relations
- Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
- Business systems savvy (MS Office / reporting & planning)
- ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus
