The Financial Planning and Analysis position will partner with Compass Group sector and account Site Leadership to focus on financial modeling and analysis to outline growth and determine financial opportunities and efficiencies that benefit our food programs overall. This position reports into the Global CFO, and will leverage their strong financial and accounting skills to partner with key stakeholders (culinary, hospitality, concept development, procurement, risk management, operations and HR), to promote financial best practices in line with Compass standards and Food+ by Compass expectations while maintaining enhanced user experience.

The great things you can expect to do:

• Collaborate with the on-site regional finance leads and the Corporate Centres on aligning key reporting processes.

• Collaboratively work through the management reporting process on implementation of the requirements and timetables.

• Prepare various monthly global business performance reports and related narrative used to update senior leadership and key stakeholders.

• Lead real-time financial performance monitoring by reviewing Revenue/Margin variances, trends and KPI’s across the regions/countries/sectors.

• Coordinate the annual plan and forecast cycles, including preparing guiding principles for the regions to follow and implement.

• Prepare overhead expense budgets and forecasts.

• Prepare analysis and presentations for budgets, forecasts, and rolling outlook.

• Continuously seek ways to improve and provide better data and analysis of the business

• Improve data quality & speed of analysis by supporting the ongoing development of technology capabilities

• Produce ad hoc analysis, financial modeling, and involvement in key projects and initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role and company size.

• Business Degree with CPA and/or MBA preferred.

• Be team-oriented; strong interpersonal skills and able to develop collaborative relationships at all levels in the organization.

• Have a strong sense of personal ownership, commitment and accountability with ability to work independently in an agile environment.

• Demonstrate excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

• Flexible approach and ‘can do’ attitude.

• High level of proficiency in Google Suites (Sheets, Docs, Slides) in addition to Excel with an interest in utilizing technology to improve efficiency (e.g. Power BI).

• Experience Financial Modelling and HFM experience (desirable, not essential).
