Job Summary
Inventory Specialist
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Designing and implementing an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures
Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, stock levels and keep track of signing out tools.
Examine the levels of materials and supplies to determine shortages.
Oversee inventory and order additional products and supplies when needed.
Develop scope for future vendors and assist with the selection of ones that best meet the needs of the organization.

Keep up to date with industry trends and update inventory as needed.
Assist with the coordination of projects with the project supervisor.
Other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with peers, employees, clients, and customers.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Basic understanding of contract administration and client relations
Basic knowledge of operating and maintenance instructions, safety regulations, codes, and use of departmental policy, be able to follow the procurement process and procedure manuals.
Some mechanical inclination
Competency in all Microsoft Office applications
Driver’s License (preferred, but may be required for certain roles)
