Job Summary

Position Summary: Levy’s On-Deck Summer Internship is a 10-week, project-based program with a focus on improving business operations on a strategic and multifunctional level. Interns will be exposed to Levy’s unique culture, personal and professional development workshops, and standards of service at Levy’s Home Office in Chicago, IL. This summer internship program is offered to full-time college students interested in a career in hospitality or data analytics. Upon successful completion of the On-Deck program, interns have the potential to receive a full-time, entry-level position post-graduation. This position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all Levy marketing campaigns
  • Supporting branding efforts.
  • Aiding website development.
  • Supporting events.
  • Overseeing PR.
  • Help team brainstorm creative campaign ideas, as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date and share latest marketing and industry trends with the team.
  • Monitor competitors, as needed.
  • Lead asset / server management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Full-time student currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university/college majoring in an appropriate discipline
  • A skilled multitasker who works with a sense of urgency
  • A team player with the ability to work cohesively with Levy team members and fellow interns alike
  • An effective communicator comfortable engaging with potential guests, leadership and key stakeholders
  • Hospitality focused individual with a desire to learn and grow within the industry
  • Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • Efficient in basic math and computer skills (MS Office, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
  • Graphic design skills (and/or familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
