Job Summary

The Purchasing / Supply Chain Innovation Manager will contribute to the identification, prioritization, and execution of opportunities core to Levy's supply chain strategy. They will work closely with the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Innovation and SVP of Supply Chain to identify enterprise solutions, develop project plans, structure and lead cross-functional teams, gain executive stakeholder buy-in, and own project outcomes. Preliminary opportunities include, but are not limited to the roll-out of enterprise supply chain management systems, the integration of new technology into our supply chain, identifying lean inventory management best practices, and the creation of the tools for enhanced demand & supply planning cadence.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Translate Levy's strategy into impactful, implementable project opportunities
  • Prioritize opportunities by balancing impact, ease of implementation, and risk
  • Establish a role as an influencer with the ability to gain buy-in from senior leadership
  • Develop system and process solutions that meet the unique needs of our various business units and clients
  • Exercise analytical rigor while developing solutions and estimating benefits
  • Partner with E15 Group to craft our supply chain data strategy and design data requirements
  • Manage cross-functional teams, establishing a project culture of accountability, including with teams of non-reports
  • Develop change management strategy and effectively drive change across business units to ensure successful implementation of the project, establish success criteria
  • Coach junior resources and train Levy stakeholders in new best practices, tools, and systems
  • Drive the team to provide timely, high-quality data deliverables
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance is required, MBA is a plus
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a Project Management, Continual Improvement, or System / Process Consulting
  • Knowledge of inventory & supply chain management principles and best practices
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel including macros, pivot tables, etc., and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience developing enterprise inventory management and purchasing system requirements is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Access and Tableau is preferred
