  • Requirement: Previous experience preferred, but not required. Willing to train!
  • Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
  • Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
  • Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

  • Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Paid Time Off

  • Eligible Employees: Full-Time Employees
  • Eligibility Date: Begins the first of the month following 90 days of continuous service
  • Amount: Accumulate monthly based upon hours worked per week (40 hours = 10 days; 35 - 39 hours = 8.75 days; 30-34 hours = 7.5 days)

Sector Paid Sick Leave

  • Eligible Employees: Full-time employees
  • Eligibility Date: Accumulated each month and may be carried over from year to year
  • Amount: Up to a maximum of 30 days

Personal Days

  • Eligible Employees: Full-time Employees
  • Eligibility Date: After completion of 90-day probationary period

Holidays

  • Eligible Employees: Non-Union; Full-time Employees
  • Amount: Six (6) paid holidays per year
  • Eligibility Date: Upon completion of ninety (90) days of employment
