Job Summary
This Bench position will provide management support to new and existing SSC accounts in K-12 or higher education settings. Travel is required and can be significant including overnights. Ideal candidates will be open to relocating.
Summary:
Join our team as an Assistant Custodial Director Bench and play a pivotal role in elevating support services in K-12 or higher education environments. This dynamic position involves being responsible for operational needs, coordinating tasks, and ensuring the highest level of service. Key Responsibilities:
- Standard Setting: Establish and review standards and work procedures aligning with facility policies, ensuring excellence across all operations.
- Strategic Planning: Plan work schedules, hours, and job duties to guarantee optimal service delivery across all areas.
- Team Leadership: Interview, select, evaluate, and cultivate facility personnel, maintaining high standards and fostering a positive work environment.
- Inspections and Evaluations: Conduct regular facility inspections, recommend action items, and facilitate smooth relocations within the facility.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate activities through regular staff meetings, ensuring flawless communication with other departments.
- Project Management: Schedule major project work, ensuring ample staff and supplies availability for successful execution.
- Resource Management: Conduct regular inventory of supplies and assist the department director with budget management.
- Adaptability: Perform other duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Four years in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
- Personal Attributes: Strong work ethic, initiative for quality and customer service, and an intense drive for success.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication, along with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Administrative Proficiency: Strong administrative and organizational skills, coupled with proficiency in MS Office products.
- Education: An Associate’s degree is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
