Hiring Fraud Alert

  • Recruitment fraud is a scam criminals use to try to convince applicants like you to divulge sensitive personal information, allowing them to commit identity fraud or steal your money or property. Compass USA is committed to the safety and privacy of our applicants, and want to provide some guidelines to you, our candidates and applicants, to help avoid this threat: Compass USA will never ask for payment of any kind as part of a job application.
  • All official Compass communications will come from our internal email addresses that use our company names (for example, @compass-usa.com). Our teams will never use public email accounts from services like @gmail.com, @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, @protonmail.com or others.
  • Compass USA will never ask you to pay third-party vendors to complete an application or to be considered for a job. Compass will never ask you to buy anything (gift cards, pre-paid credit cards, etc.) to be considered for a job.
  • Compass USA will not send or email you a check to order/purchase necessary equipment.
  • Official Compass offer letters are sent by the recruiter or hiring manager via email through our applicant tracking system and will provide specific information including exact job, rate of pay, and the name of hiring manager.
  • Official Compass offer letters are not vague and do not come from our Chief Human Resources Officer or any other “executive.”

If you feel you are falling victim to recruitment fraud, or something just doesn't feel right, please contact your local authorities, and report the user on the site or platform through which they are targeting you if possible.
