ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Schedule: Full time; primarily Monday through Friday with weekends as needed. More details are available upon interviewing.

Job Summary
Under the guidance of the unit director, the assistant director of operations is responsible for the support of established operational, quality, and financial standards of the department within a hospital setting. They will manage the day to day operations of the constant observation team and may have some oversight on patient transportation. They will provide the primary support to ensure ideal workflow and outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all staff in accordance with established policies and practices of the facility
- Advises and conducts safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs; while maintaining excellent relationships with client and the customer
- Assists to ensure client, customer satisfaction and efficient cost effective management
- Promotes the professional growth and development of all associates
- Coordinates the tasks of the subordinate Supervisory and Management team via regular communication
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of management experience
- Superior quantitative, verbal and written communications and problem-solving/strategizing skills
- Proactive demeanor to anticipate and support changes in our business
- Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
- Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
- Strong work ethic, drive, and initiative for quality and customer service
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
- Bachelor’s or Associate's degree or equivalent proven experience
