Job Summary
As the Cafe Manager of a high-volume corporate cafe, you will be responsible for ensuring outstanding food service operations Monday through Friday from 9am to 7pm. This location serves breakfast, lunch, and snacks and hosts special events for a premier clientele. With multiple food stations and self-order kiosks, POS system experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches approximately 20 hourly associates
- Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions in the cafe
- Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards
- Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the business
- Manages cafe operations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations
- Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment
- POS system experience and proficiency
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
- ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred
