Bon Appétit Management Company operates more than 1,000 cafés around the country for corporations, universities, and museums, as well as a few dozen public restaurants. We are looking for a Cafe Manager to join our team!

This is a floating management position that will temporarily manage operations at various cafes based on business needs. You may float between locations or between departments and are applying for a job that occurs on different campuses.

The Cafe Manager is responsible for service and delivering exceptional experiences at our Compass at Google account. Focusing on innovative hospitality, you will create the cafe experience for our Food program in order to support operational excellence. Reporting to the Multi Unit-General Manager, you’ll leverage your strong hospitality and operational skills to partner with key stakeholders across the account to deliver the best food service experience to our guests.

• Monitor and manage all financial & budget responsibilities

• Work closely in conjunction with the cafe culinary team

What we look for in a candidate:

• Value-driven, inspirational leadership invoked by a deep sense of purpose and responsibility

• Ability to drive and enhance a culture of Food and Workplace Safety

• A minimum of 3-5 years cafe, restaurant, hotel or stadium management experience required

• Ability to integrate diverse perspectives and experiences

• Excellent communication skills - written & verbal

• Proven track record of leadership with excellent culinary knowledge

• Proven mentoring and teaching skills with direct reports & peers

• Inventory & labor management knowledge

• Managing in a Union Environment is a plus
