Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Contracts Specialist to join our team. This role involves analyzing, interpreting, and processing complex legal contracts and documents within a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system. The Specialist will become proficient in CLM software to ensure efficient and accurate contract management while assisting legal and cross-functional teams by providing training and support to improve processes and overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, identifying and implementing effective solutions for contract management challenges, and will actively seek opportunities for process improvements and CLM enhancements. Maintaining strict confidentiality and demonstrating excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills are critical to success in this dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, interpret, and process complex legal contracts and documents within a contract lifecycle management system
- Learn and become proficient in the contract lifecycle management system to ensure efficient and accurate processing of legal contracts
- Assist and collaborate with other legal and cross-functional teams, providing training and support as needed, to streamline contract management processes and improve overall efficiency
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing priorities and new challenges in a dynamic work environment
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to identify problems, analyze potential solutions, and implement effective resolutions related to the contract lifecycle management system
- Demonstrate initiative and proactivity, including identifying opportunities for process improvements, CLM functionality enhancements, and driving positive changes within the legal team
- Maintain strict confidentiality of internal, personnel, and client/contract information
Qualifications:
- 2+ year of legal administrative experience
- Prior experience with a CLM is a plus
- Technical skills or software proficiency is crucial, including learning and understanding how to navigate and utilize a CLM software effectively
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, excellent time management, and strong organizational skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in all tasks and documentation
- Excellent, proven interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with team members and stakeholders, especially in a highly matrixed environment
