We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Director of Food Service Operations to join our team at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. This is a high-volume, prestigious account, perfect for an energetic individual ready to lead with passion and innovation.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing food service operations, maintaining quality and cost standards, and ensuring superior service delivery. We are looking for a results-driven leader with executive-level experience managing diverse services and locations.

What You'll Do:
- Develop and manage budgets and operational plans
- Ensure quality standards are upheld across all areas of the foodservice operation
- Foster strong relationships with clients, customers, and staff to drive account retention and satisfaction
- Oversee day-to-day food service operations, ensuring employees have the right equipment, inventory, and resources to excel
- Develop and execute strategic projects that align with Chartwells’ vision, ensuring key objectives, timelines, and budgets are met
- Deliver accurate financial reporting and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS degree preferred
- Five years of foodservice management experience required
- Higher Education experience in board and retail operations is required
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Salary Range:$105,0000-$110,000
Starting Rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to: location, education, training, and/or experience
