Job Summary

The Director, Business Performance Standards ensures consistent operational practices across all channels and in all branches, deriving tactical as well as strategic conclusions to recommend informed business decisions. Primary responsibilities include analyzing trends, building dashboards, developing playbooks and SOPs, facilitating reporting, data mining, forecasting, and a wide spectrum of special projects determined by business needs. This exciting role informs meaningful changes to the way we conduct business and serve our most important clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent operational practices across all channels in all branches
  • Create and roll out playbooks for M&As
  • Own and drive timeline of acquisition plans to achieve compliance within 6 months
  • Develop SOPs for operational tools, such as One Cup, Smart Tech, iVend, and others
  • Provide information and recommendations to senior leaders which identify and diagnose potential areas of improvement while mitigating the impact of existing known problem areas
  • Provide operational analysis/review, recommendations for business improvement
  • Spend up to 30% of their time in the field understanding and evaluating current standards and practices and ensuring we exceed client expectations
  • Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, SOPs, training materials, and dashboards
  • Assist in monthly operational reporting both internally and externally

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of industry experience, including vending
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization toolkits
  • Experience developing solutions using large volumes of data from multiple sources
  • Project management experience or certification
  • Minimum of 5+ years in multi-unit operations environment
  • 3-5 years in retail environments preferred
