Job Summary

ESFM is looking for a strong Director, Procurement / Sourcing.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide formal supervision to employees, manage staff training and professional growth, conduct performance appraisals and mentoring, and oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Direct and guide the team’s daily operations. Develop work schedules, delegate responsibilities, and facilitate cross-functional training among staff. Establish and monitor individual and departmental deadlines. Provide mentorship and coaching as required.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of organization-wide guidelines, protocols, playbooks, and additional corporate documentation for the Procurement & Supply Chain functions.
  • Develop, communicate, implement, and lead the execution of local and regional sourcing and procurement strategies to support program, corporate, and client goals and objectives.
  • Prepare monthly reports of departmental activities and metrics. Develop client-specific KPIs and SLAs that align with ESFM Procurement and Supply Chain strategy.
  • Manage annual procurement budget and vendor supplier base.
  • Act as an intermediary among the business units, client procurement teams, and internal divisions.
  • Utilize a strong understanding of various disciplines, the business landscape, and the primary factors influencing performance within departments and across the organization.
  • Exemplify leadership and embody the principles that align with ESFM’s core values. Motivate managers and peers to initiate actions that are in harmony with the strategic business objectives of the organization.
  • Engage in negotiations with external stakeholders, suppliers, and clients with varying objectives to achieve a unified aim.
  • Determine and address intricate, multi-layered operational and organizational challenges by utilizing suitable resources from within the department or externally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree OR relevant equivalent experience required
  • 5+ Years Experience as a Procurement / Sourcing Leader
  • Experience in Facilities Management Preferred
