Salary: $80,000-$90,000/ yr. Salary based on experience and education

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop regular and modified menus in strict adherence to established guidelines, ensuring flawless execution and outstanding quality.
  • Train kitchen staff thoroughly in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, food safety, and sanitation based on company and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas to ensure the most effective operations.
  • Maintain inventory levels of food and non-food supplies to stay within established guidelines while ensuring vital products are available.
  • Comply closely with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations, as well as department sanitation procedures.
  • Fulfill other assigned responsibilities to support kitchen operations and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience, with three to five years of dynamic culinary or kitchen management experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food and catering trends, particularly in quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail, and the Internet.
  • Extensive experience in catering is a plus.
  • Experience in high-volume, complex food service operations is highly desirable.
  • ServSafe certified is highly desirable.
  • Flexible to work weekends/ evenings as needed for the role.
