Job Summary
Join our team at Compass Group as a Field Marketing Specialist, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with passionate, talented professionals who share your commitment to excellence! As part of this role, you’ll support our operations across multiple states-including Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina-to deliver exceptional service and drive profitability. This dynamic position offers the chance to travel within the region and includes a company vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our efforts to enhance and expand our food service operations by:
- Leading and supporting marketing, advertising, and promotional initiatives.
- Providing in-field and remote support for on-site operations, including merchandising, POS installations, and updates.
- Collaborating on successful openings of new business locations.
- Developing and implementing marketing plans and projects for both new and existing accounts.
- Growing and enhancing our marketing platforms to support company objectives.
- Measuring the effectiveness of marketing plans, monitoring activity and outcomes, and reporting on key performance metrics.
- Managing marketing activities within budget and providing insights into ROI and other success metrics.
- Creating compelling marketing presentations and materials.
- Staying informed on industry best practices and emerging trends to continuously refine our marketing approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (preferred).
- At least one year of marketing experience.
- Ability to present effectively to large audiences.
- Experience with merchandising, promotions, and campaign development.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
