Job Summary


Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Levy Corporate Office: 980 N. Michigan Ave Chicago, IL 60611
Time Frame: (In office) Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (24 hours/week)

As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will be supporting the Corporate HR team with a variety of tasks. You will be involved with many programs, services, and projects related to our people efforts and HR initiatives at the Home Office. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in managing the office HR activity - ensuring the most effective and efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with day-to-day administrative processes of the HR department
  • Creating and distributing documents
  • Maintaining various HR systems by updating and entering data
  • Setting appointments and arranging meetings
  • Compiling reports and preparing spreadsheets
  • Assisting in building presentation materials and on-boarding processes for new team members
  • Responsible for all mail sorting and distribution
  • Project manage Home Office cultural and volunteer events
  • Assist the HR Manager with various research or special projects as directed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR management team, and in group presentations and meetings
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Reporting Skills, Maintaining Employee Files, Dependability, Confidentiality, Independence, Orienting Employees, Teamwork
  • Microsoft Office Skills
