The In-Seat Pantry Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the Suites pantry, demonstrating organizational prowess and strong leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position involves a comprehensive understanding of the food and beverage menu, ensuring the accuracy of Suite orders from initiation to event closure. Collaborating with the Suite Manager, the In-Seat Pantry Coordinator handles administrative tasks, including monthly inventory.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Supervise and assist in serving meals to guests in the suites.
- Collaborate with the Suite Manager on administrative duties, including monthly inventory.
- Record guest orders and relay them to the kitchen via the P.O.S. system.
- Ensure the overall accuracy and quality of Suite set-up, menus, and pre-ordered/day-of-event food.
- Manage suite staff breaks, complete break sheets, and ensure coverage during breaks.
- Supervise staff to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Possess full knowledge of the food and beverage menu, sharing it with the staff.
- Work closely with kitchen and suite team members to ensure the quality and accuracy of food orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
- Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
