Job Summary:
The Shop Manager leads the day-to-day operations at Company Kitchen diagnosing and resolving sophisticated mechanical issues, directing a team of technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining customer satisfaction, upholding safety standards while prioritizing accurate troubleshooting and timely repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leads daily operations of the shop, including scheduling repairs, assigning technicians to jobs, and supervising repair progress
* Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive repair experience
* Conduct regular quality checks on completed repairs to identify potential issues and address them proactively
* Carry out strict safety protocols within the shop, ensuring technicians adhere to proper safety procedures and use of protective equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
* 5+ years as a shop manager; preferably with a focus on mechanical troubleshooting
* Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to learn maintenance software for daily usage
* Expertise in mechanical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair across diverse machinery and systems
* Experience developing a team of technicians, providing effective coaching, and fostering a positive work environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication to interact efficiently with customers and technicians
* Strong analytical abilities to identify root causes of mechanical issues and develop efficient repair solutions
* Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationships
