Salary: Up to $135,000/yr.

Job Summary

This outstanding opportunity as a Multi-Unit Catering Manager in Long Island, NY, allows you to lead high-volume, high-end, multi-unit catering operations. You will coordinate a team of 25 professionals across 8 leisure accounts. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our catering services are completed flawlessly, offering world-class experiences to our clients.

This role requires 100% travel within Long Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully implement strategic plans to achieve the company's financial objectives. Efficiently monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure efficient financial performance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring outstanding customer service and fulfillment.
  • Lead all aspects of operational excellence to optimize efficiency. Ensure all operations meet regulatory compliance and corporate standards using standard processes.
  • Lead and encourage a team of professionals, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Mentor and support staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Manage administrative functions, including contract administration and office procedures, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain the flexibility to work on weekends and travel up to 100% to handle and support various accounts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Food Service / Hospitality management is required.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in hospitality running multi-unit catering operations.
  • Strong catering background for both on and off-premises locations.
  • High-end social and corporate events expertise.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written formal and oral presentations.
  • Skill in multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain organization and control in an ever-changing environment.
  • Must exhibit self-initiative, accountability, flexibility, and strong leadership skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
