Job Summary

Join us at Wolfgang Puck Catering's Union Station Commissary in Dallas, where the art of pastry creation meets exceptional catering services across the city. As a Pastry Chef, you will be part of a dedicated culinary team, crafting exquisite pastries, desserts, and baked goods for VIP events, cultural attractions, corporate accounts, and more. In this dynamic environment, your passion and creativity will contribute to unforgettable culinary experiences for our esteemed clientele. Typically working Monday to Friday, with weekends and evenings as catering and events dictate, this role offers the opportunity to balance your work-life while producing extraordinary pastries that elevate every occasion to new heights of culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Craft and produce premium pastries and desserts, ensuring impeccable quality and presentation.
- Manage ingredient ordering to ensure freshness and smooth production.
- Handle, prepare, and store perishable products according to HACCP guidelines.
- Maintain impeccable standards of efficiency, safety, and sanitation in food production.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Culinary degree preferred, with a minimum of three years' experience in high-volume dining or catering.
- Demonstrated expertise in fine dining pastry techniques.
- Stay current with food and catering trends, focusing on seasonal ingredients and presentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safe food handling principles; certifications such as ServSafe are a plus.
