Job Summary:
We are seeking a high-impact Recruiter for our University Relations Team! Someone dedicated to our nationwide student engagement strategy. This role is responsible for driving campus recruitment activity to attract and engage student talent for our internship programs, Accelerated Manager Program (AMP), and Early Career opportunities. This role requires an individual with excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation abilities. These skills will be used to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships on campus. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced growth environment with a positive entrepreneurial culture. The unique combination of executive presence, passion, and commitment is what we are looking for. Lastly, someone who understands the overall campus space, and can navigate multiple industries and recruit for multiple job functions simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of campus recruitment, including, but not limited to: requisition management, sourcing, networking, screening, assessing, and building rapport with hiring teams & business partners.
- Build candidate pipeline through targeted advertising, direct sourcing, employee referrals, networking, and recruitment events.
- Manage and facilitate recruiting activities both on campus and virtually including networking events, on-campus interviews, presentations, and other events to attract a high caliber & quantity of early talent applicants.
- Establish on-campus relationships & promote a compelling employment brand at colleges and universities.
- Partner with recruiting peers to develop a holistic recruiting strategy on university campuses.
- Real passion for innovation shown through creative recruiting strategies and continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate with the hiring department to develop a firm understanding of department culture and position requirements, including skills and background required for the position.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to hiring managers throughout the university recruitment process.
- Manage relationships with key university career services teams, student groups, and academic leaders.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with campus recruitment, building university relationships on campus, and promoting employment brands across colleges and universities is preferred.
- Additionally, preferred staffing agency experience.
- Ability to be self-directed with a high sense of urgency, while also effectively collaborating and working in a team environment.
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset to help create strategies within the campus space to remove obstacles.
- Understanding of Lean 6 Sigma practices and a mindset to eliminate waste and find efficiencies.
