Salary: $60-65k base plus bonus

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for developing highly qualified sales opportunities and working them into the sales funnel within a specific territory. The SDR will leverage sales and lead generation via targeted resources and platforms, as well as work with Sector Partners to identify and qualify potential opportunities through cadences and persistence, to set appointments for their outside sales directors.


Role and Responsibilities:
* Setting appointments for our outside sales team
* Developing outreach strategies and establishing relationships with honesty and integrity
* Utilizing multiple online resource platforms
* Leveraging savvy technology and social media skills - CRM, Microsoft Suite, Video & Communication Platforms and Research Tools
* Collaborating with outside sales directors to identify and contact prospective customers, build relationships, qualify their needs and determine next steps
* Setting goals with your line manager to meet yearly KPIs
* Creating relevant collateral with our marketing and creative teams
* Being consistently persistent


Daily Responsibilities:
* Daily outreach via multi-channel approach to new prospects within the existing CRM database
* Proficiency in fast-paced, outbound telephone outreach
* Perform limited research on organizations as a component of lead generation and qualification activities applying multiple research tools
* Gather and communicate industry, market, customer, competitive information and intelligence to strategize with team
* Review analytics from monthly email campaigns and follow up on areas of opportunity
* Utilize social media tools to create a profile that engages our prospects with Compass Group news, press releases and relevant industry updates
* Maintain accurate and timely notes and validate current data records within the CRM
* Meet and exceed your quarterly and annual performance targets
* Get a foot in the door for future opportunities and build valuable networking contacts


Daily Responsibilities:

* Bachelor’s degree
* Previous short sales cycle prospecting experience is a plus
* A tenacious spirit in prospecting
* Ability to be persistent and navigate objections
* Comfortable leading with the phone/text in prospecting
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Strong research skills and the ability to translate information into resonating statements
* Highly organized and timely with follow up
* Must be tech and social media savvy
* Adaptable and energized by change
* Motivated, self-starter who thrives working in a remote setting
