Salary: $110,000-$120,000 + bonus eligible

General of Statement of Duties
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an immediate opening to join our team as a Sr. Project Manager. Project managers serve as the interface between our clients and our in-house design team to ensure accurate information is communicated and all work is completed on time, on budget, and consistently meets Waveguide’s standards of quality. Remote / home-based work is anticipated as the primary workplace assuming the candidate meets the minimum home-office requirements. Daily responsibilities will include the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Act as program manager responsible for coordinating Waveguide’s multidisciplinary technology consulting services across multiple projects and accounts
- 10-20% travel anticipated
- Monitor and track progress reporting up to a Principal of the company. This will typically include compiling reports with multi-project analysis, updated forecasts and burn rates, updated schedule(s), etc.
- Ensure internal processes are followed
- Assist with client billing and project revenue forecasting
- Drive internal teams to meet internal and external deadlines
- Provide regular project updates and reporting to owner. This may include running open issues and action items lists, hourly fee consumption reports, etc.
- Take ownership of projects and the processes. Challenge ideas and find ways to improve work products and processes.
- Representing Waveguide at project meetings
- Create and manage project schedules identifying project deliverables and communicate schedules to design team to clarify design milestones
- Coordinate project requirements with internal and external teams
- Assist the project team with project delivery, including project set up, meeting preparation and participation, report writing, and general coordination
- Build relationships that empower clients. Be responsive to client needs.
- Pursue ongoing professional growth and development of project management skills.
- Assist and contribute to the Waveguide community.
- Job Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience managing professional AV/IT projects, preferably as an independent consultant.
- Four-year or higher degree in a relevant technical field (BSCM)
- PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
- In addition, project experience with a $2 to $5 million AV budget, experience with multi-year deployments, and international project experience is desired.
- Strong understanding of commercial/institutional design and construction concepts, applications and operations
- Understanding of commercial low voltage technology systems, applications and operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in all MS Office application
- Suitable environment for audio and video calls
