Job Summary

Senior Director - IFM Solutions Development

We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented Senior Director of IFM Solution Development to lead the creation of operational and cost-effective facilities management solutions tailored to meet the objectives of our clients. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, from renewing and expanding existing business to developing multiple large-scale, multi-service proposals simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, client-facing leader who will spearhead the solutioning process by collaborating with sales, subject matter experts, operational leaders, and executive leadership to deliver compelling proposals that drive ESFM’s ambitious growth strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute strategies to enhance the creation and approach for winning proposals. Facilitate and lead strategy sessions on assigned proposals, focusing on developing win themes and other strategic initiatives.
  • Bid Evaluation: Collaborate with senior management, sales, legal, and corporate support teams to assess key bid opportunities and streamline the preparation and submission of successful proposals.
  • Solutions Process Management: Oversee the entire solutions process, ensuring project ownership throughout the development of the solution. Work closely with pricing/costing teams and content developers to deliver high-quality proposals that are well-scoped, identifying risks and ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Proactive Engagement: Lead working sessions, client meetings, and internal communications to foster collaboration and drive proposal success.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships and partnerships with sales team, operations, SMEs, and client interactions, collaboratively developing strategies for RFx responses and managing necessary resources, including site visits and presentations.
  • Cost Development and Financial Analysis: Collaborate and develop a compelling and competitive commercial model. Design expanded financial analyses to bolster pricing and commercial structures. Build comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials, and subcontracts, utilizing internal pricing models and workloading tools. Develop solutions by leveraging data providing a foundation for a solid and defendable solution.
  • Industry Benchmark Development: Contribute to the use of industry benchmarks to enhance the competitiveness of the company's proposals.
  • On-Site Data Collection: Conduct on-site data collection at client facilities as needed for solution design and detailed development tasks. Perform other related duties as assigned. Perform detailed analysis to identify cost savings and other benefits for clients, support financial benchmarking, and lead the due diligence process to align client baselines with current and proposed scopes.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in related fields
* 10+ years of solution development and process
* Understanding and expertise in Facility Management structures and operations.
* Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word expertise is required

The ideal candidate possesses strong project management and prioritization skills, excellent attention to detail, and strategic approach and judgment in decision-making. They will serve as a dynamic utility player that proactively fills gaps in the process and addresses issues before they become problems. Client-facing presentation and conversational skills are a must.

Remote - Anticipated Travel is at least 50%
