Job Summary

Explore an outstanding opportunity with CulinArt Group, a member of Compass Group USA as the Sr. Catering Manager in Exton, PA. Lead and excel within a dynamic team, delivering world-class service and flawlessly executing catering events for independent schools and B&I accounts.

Join us and be part of an ambitious team determined to deliver flawless catering services, with daily travel within an hour of Exton, PA. Some nights and weekends required, but no holidays. Competitive salary with reimbursement for any travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of catering events, from planning to execution.
  • Lead, train, and develop a team of 5-10 hourly employees, ensuring high performance and remarkable service.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to deliver innovative and balanced food practices.
  • Offer exceptional support to a diverse and high-volume customer base, ensuring client happiness and repeat business.
  • Monitor budgets, handle costs, and analyze financial performance to meet company goals.
  • Coordinate and implement special events, ensuring they are memorable and successful.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new business and retain existing clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience with at least two years in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of general hospitality, with a keen interest in sustainability.
  • Proficient in using web-based ordering systems and applications like word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent email communication skills, capable of crafting professional and efficient correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Friendly and efficient interaction with a diverse customer base.
  • Adherence to company-specific uniform standards and personal protective equipment guidelines.
  • Flexible to travel as needed for the role.
