Position Title: Unit Marketing Manager

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Salary: $73,000 to $85,000

Job Summary

Working as a Unit Marketing Manager for the Company will allow you the opportunity to work with GREAT people like yourself! This position will be responsible for leading all marketing and communication on behalf of Union Square events, interfacing with the hotel management and executive leadership teams,
stakeholders and ownership.

This position is located at Canoe Place Inn in Hampton Bays Long Island, NY. This is an onsite position. Will consider Hybrid during off-time of events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads in all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
  • Occasionally requires weekend and evening/night presence
  • Client relations
  • Interaction with media and guests
  • Social media and branding
  • Analyzes customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Develops and implements marketing plans and projects for new and existing accounts
  • Responsible for conceptualizing and executing all F&B activations alongside the operations team, as well as managing brand partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Expands and develops marketing platforms
  • Manages the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
  • Monitors, reviews and reports on all marketing activity and results
  • Delivers marketing activity within agreed budget
  • Reports on return on investment and key performance metrics
  • Creates marketing presentations
  • Monitors industry best practices and trends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Marketing preferred
  • Social Media Savvy
  • Xcel for budgets
  • Minimum of three years marketing experience
  • Ability to present to large groups
  • Knowledge of merchandising and promotions
  • Excellent writing skills
