Job Summary
The Divisional Vice President position is a critical leader on our team, responsible for leading the division’s marketing strategy and marketing team in collaborating with operations to drive participation and business growth. We are seeking an outgoing marketing authority who is passionate about building a brand that supports both students and nutrition, creating a collaborative culture, and shaping division-wide marketing and promotional strategies. This role is multifaceted, with a focus on strategic marketing initiatives that boost engagement, cultivate deeper partnerships within the community, and generate new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with operations and division marketers to develop and deliver a marketing strategy aligned with business goals, focused on building our program and driving client/guest engagement.
- Develop multi-channel marketing planning across the division that encompasses digital, social, and traditional marketing. Establish success metrics and reporting mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing plans and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Communications to implement an effective communications strategy.
- Build and cultivate strategic relationships with key internal partners (culinary, dietitians, operations) and external partners.
- Develop marketing programs and promotions that cultivate company culture and improve our positioning within the marketplace.
- Oversee the go-to-market strategy for new student-centric and revenue-generating program launches and measure impact.
- Actively contribute to client reporting through monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews, showcasing the success of the partnership.
- Work with company resources to ensure integration and collaboration across departments.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to craft strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the divisional marketing team, regularly assessing performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and mentor the division’s marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven years of marketing management experience.
- Consistent track record of advising marketing programs that build engagement and sales.
- Strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage budgets.
- Experience in restaurant, fast casual, or food marketing is a plus.
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong technical proficiency.
- Broad knowledge of social media and solutions that improve internal and external engagement, with a detailed understanding of the Internet.
- Self-starter with outstanding leadership and planning capabilities.
- Budget management experience is required.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to balance business priorities with standard processes and implementation methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
