Salary: $55000 - $58000

Job Summary
Job Summary:
As the Wellness Coordinator you will oversee the operation of the fitness/wellness center which includes, but is not limited to, overseeing the facilities, personnel, programs and budget. As the Wellness Coordinator you must be able to develop and implement comprehensive wellness and prevention programs and you must be able to apply exercise norms and protocols established by the American College of Sports Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S Degree in Exercise Science or degree in related discipline
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a personal trainer, cardiac-rehab trainer, group program instructor or assistant to Wellness Director
- Previous experience managing a wellness or fitness program with over 25 participates - highly desirable
- Experience working with the Senior population - highly desirable
- Certification with ACSM, NSCA, ACE, AFAA - desirable
